SYMPOSIUM
This symposium couldn't happen at a better time.

"Are we ready to defend with inner dignity and
courage those who nourish soils and souls? We
all will stand up and unite with those who keep
nourishing us. We all become farmers ready to
guard our land. " - Michael Schmidt

With farmers struggling to save their farms, consumers questioning what they can do to help, debates swirling in the media,  Wisconsin's legislators considering a  new raw milk bill and disturbing news about raw milk shut-down in Chilliwack, BC, Canada - we need to gather together to gather strength for the long road ahead.

The symposium is simply the medium; the magic will come from those who attend.  Will you be there? Read more about the symposium

FARMAGEDDON FILM
Farmageddon is truly is the documentary film that we've all been waiting for.  It's about raw milk, farm families in peril, harmful food safety legislation and consumer food rights. Farmageddon was the brain/heart child of producer/director, Kristin Canty, and takes up where Food Inc. leaves off.

Kristin's son, Charlie, had asthma, unsuccessfully treated by conventional medicine. Her search for a solution led her to discover raw milk.  She saw dramatic changes in Charlie's health after drinking raw milk, and noticed remarkable changes in her entire family. Her search for even more fresh farm foods was interrupted when she discovered small farmers were in peril.  Subjected to heavy regulation, lengthy and expensive legal actions and out-right persecution, the farms providing foods that Kristin's family relied upon for health, were in danger of becoming extinct.

Even as the USDA was extolling "Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food", she saw the pressure on these farms had not abated, unbelievably, it had escalated. In the light of even more spirit-sapping regulations in the upcoming food safety bills before Congress, she saw the end of small farming as we know it, was nigh.

Farmageddon is the name of the film, and the future of farming if we don't change course.

Kristin did what many mothers in her situation would do. She found a solution. In making this documentary, and telling these stories, she intends to free the farmers and by doing so, free America's families in search of their own health and life-giving solutions.

The documentary includes interviews with symposium presenters Sally Fallon Morell, Mark McAfee, Pete Kennedy and Tim Wightman and highlights the plight of farm families including the Stowers of Ohio, the Smiths of New York, the Faillaces of Vermont and many others.
FABULOUS FUNDRAISER
The FundRAISER will provide the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund with much needed resources to continue helping Wisconsin raw milk farmers and consumers.

It will also be an evening you will long remember!  The evening starts with a local wine and artisan beer reception, where you'll mingle with the symposium speakers and graze on raw milk cheeses. Next you'll be served a delicious four-course meal featuring local, organic and grass-based fare. Can you smell the savory Grass-fed Beef Bourguignon or taste the subtle sweetness of the Honey Marscapone Cheesecake with Honey Roasted Apples yet? After you dine like a king or queen, Mark McAffee will present the not-to-miss keynote "Raw Milk as Medicine.... Proudly Violating FDA Drug Laws". But, that's not all!  You'll end the evening, with a ticket to attend the very first Farmageddon Sneak Preview! FundRAISER is $150/person.
